TRANSLATION
Our translation services cover all types and subjects, going from legal translations of a broad range of certificates and official documents to juridical, economic, scientific-technical, medical, etc. topics.  Your documents will always be placed in the hands of translators who are qualified and specialized in the corresponding area. Not only do we have excellently trained Cubans on our staff, but also native-speaker technicians in the various languages our services offer.
It is also our practice to consult with specialists in each area, along with documentation, glossaries and specialized literature, in order to produce the best possible results for each request for translation.
INTERPRETING AT LECTURES AND CONFERENCES
Conference interpreting deals exclusively with oral communication: it is a matter of transmitting messages from one language to another in a natural and fluid manner, adopting expressions, the tone and convictions of the orator and by speaking in the first person.  People of different origins and cultures participate at international events, business meetings, fairs, etc., and they all speak different languages. The translator’s job consists of making sure that these persons can communicate to each other, transmitting the ideas they wish to express.
The interpreter is a language professional, not a professional in science and technology or medicine or any other area around which his work takes place.  Therefore it is vitally important to have constant communication with the clients who can specify in each instance, in a general sense, what the case deals with and provide any related documentation available that can serve as a reference for the interpreter to better prepare for the assignment.  Greater preparation contributes to greater quality of service. Conference interpretation involves different types.
CONSECUTIVE OR BILATERAL INTERPRETATION
In consecutive interpretation, also known as bilateral interpretation even though this is really one of the types found within consecutive interpretation, the interpreter speaks after the orator has completed a section of his or her presentation. This is the kind of interpretation that tends to be used at the negotiating table, for giving courses and specialized training sessions, at fairs and other similar scenarios. To be specific, in bilateral interpretation the interpreter is working in the two working languages at the same time. Our team’s experienced and qualified professionals have had excellent results in both Cuba and abroad.
SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION
In simultaneous interpretation, the interpreter speaks at the same time as the orator.  In these instances, interpreters are working in soundproof cabins and listeners hear the interpretation trough headphones.  This type of interpretation tends to be used at congresses, lectures and conferences, symposia and generally at any event with participants having a wide variety of native languages.  In such cases, not just one single interpreter is at work but it is a matter of team work inside the cabins. Generally speaking, every interpreter only interprets one of the event languages. Our team’s experienced and qualified professionals have participated at national and international events in Cuba and abroad.
